Austrian students and
students from EEA states
Austrian students as well as students from EEA states (under certain conditions) have the opportunity to receive financial support from the study grant authorities. Funding is available for studies in Austria as well as for semester abroad.

The öh mci provides a wide range of financial support and services for students. These include funding for social issues, personal consultations, free plagiarism checks, and assistance with initiatives and projects.
International students (full-degree)
International students (full-degree) , who are citizens of countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, can avail of a range of prestigious scholarships.
We aim to reward outstanding achievement and support you make a positive impact on your studies and careers.

MCI Scholarships
For Bachelor's and Master's degree programs
Our MCI scholarships are partial scholarships and may cover up to 50% and more of your tuition fee. Upon successful completion of your admission interview, you will be automatically ranked for the relevant MCI Scholarship. The scholarship value will be deducted from the tuition fee and not be disbursed directly to the successful applicant. Details on the stipend will be stated in your admission letter.
Students coming from MCI Partner Universities and are citizens of Non EU-EEA countries; these are countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area
For all masters' programs (except Executive programs)
Available for students who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee
60% of the tuition fee for the entire duration of studies
Citizens of Non-EU-EEA countries; these are citizens of countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area
For all bachelors‘ and masters' programs (except Executive programs)
Available for students who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee
50% of the tuition fee for the entire duration of studies
Citizens of Non-EU-EEA countries; these are citizens of countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area
For engineering and life science disciplines only (except Executive programs)
Available for students who are required to pay the current annual tuition fee
50% of the tuition fee for the entire duration of studies
MCI Merit-Based Scholarships
For Bachelor's Master's and Executive Education degree programs
These scholarships support students who have been engaging in specific activities and are committed to pursue them for the betterment of communities. MCI Merit-Based Scholarships cover up to almost 90 % of your tuition fees. The scholarship value will be deducted from the tuition fee and not be disbursed directly to the successful applicant.
The scholarship terms and conditions for Executive master's programs may vary.
Students who have been engaged and committed to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aim to further engage with as well as promote these goals during their studies
For MCI Executive master's program: All nationals
For all other MCI bachelors' and masters' programs: Nationals of Non-EU-EEA countries

Executive Education
Working decision makers interested in postgraduate studies are able to find attractive scholarship options at MCI. Current scholarships are listed below. All Non-EU/EU/EEA Executive Education applicants may apply for the aforementioned MCI Merit-Based scholarships.
The postgraduate master programme is based on the motto ‘manage globally - learn differently’ and is aimed at professional decision-makers with a focus on international careers. An innovative blended learning concept combines on-campus modules, online lectures, interactive study materials, excellent online support and offers maximum flexibility in terms of time and location.
Only Südstern members are eligible to apply. If there are two equally qualified candidates, the advertised scholarship can be divided equally between the two candidates. Applications for different scholarships are possible, but an applicant can only be awarded one scholarship.

Yes, multiple applications are welcome, provided you include a plausible reason in your motivation letter. However, please note that scholarships cannot be combined, and each applicant is eligible to receive only one scholarship.
Upon successful completion of your admission interview, you will automatically be considered and ranked for the relevant MCI Scholarship. The scholarship value will be deducted directly from your tuition fee and will not be disbursed to you. Details about the scholarship will be included in your admission letter.
Once you submit your application for one or more scholarships, it will be reviewed. Please note that no additional confirmation email will be sent.
The evaluation process for MCI Merit-Based Scholarships is completed by mid-April each year.
